Teachers are the theme of the season
Teachers’ Day comes at a lovely time letting us show our gratitude and blessings to our beloved teachers!
On September 7 the Shanghai Youdao Public Welfare Service Center held a special “Peach and Plum Fragrance” activity at the Fifth Residential Committee Activity Center of Fengpu Street, Fengxian District. Twenty children from the community participated in the “Thank You Teachers” event. Volunteer teacher Ying Manwen opened the event, explaining the origin of Teachers’ Day and showing what we can do to celebrate it.
The children made their own DIY three-dimensional greeting cards for their teachers, writing their own blessings and expressing their gratitude and love for their teachers in their own personal words.
